Mary Horn, M.S. is a certified nutritionist and exercise physiologist and has spent more than 25 years encouraging others to adopt lifestyle changes that positively impact their present and future wellbeing through nutrition and fitness. She is a sought-after keynote speaker on women's health issues, with many years of experience developing and executing weight management programs. Horn's career began teaching exercise classes to seniors and cardiac patients. The next ten years were devoted to exercise science at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute where she conducted research dedicated to enhancing athletic performance.
Most recently, her position as Director of Nutrition and Exercise Science at Miraval Resort Tucson allowed her to continue making an impact on healthy lifestyles by teaching classes, conducting Women's Wellness Workshops, and developing personalized nutrition and exercise programs. Horn has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Martha Stewart Live, and has been interviewed on Martha Stewart Radio. Horn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit and masters from the Chicago School of Medicine and is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Dietetic Association.
