With more than 18,000 square feet to explore, a workout at the VAC is never simply routine. Worlds away from the standard “fitness room” at other Vail hotels, the Vail Athletic Club offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment and free weights, circuit machines, fitness class rooms, superb steam and shower facilities – even a towering indoor climbing wall.
Premier gym equipment
With our recent $150,000 equipment upgrade, the Vail Athletic Club gym facilities are Vail Valley’s best. Our cardiovascular machines are equipped with personal television screens, and our Precor strength training equipment is new and among the finest available. We also have an ample selection of superior quality free weights. The modern industrial décor in our two-story workout room, with loft-style ceilings and expansive views of mountainside spruce trees and aspen, provides the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor inspiration.
Workout accessories
Whatever workout you enjoy at home, chances are you can replicate it or make it better at the VAC. We carry a full complement of Pilates machines, foam rollers, exercise balls, and other fitness equipment. The VAC also sports 14 LeMond spin bikes equipped with Pilot heart rate monitors.
Exercise Studios
The Vail Athletic Club has three top quality studios with hardwood floors, mirrors and ceiling fans to keep you cool. Join one of our many classes in our Exercise Studio, Pilates Studio or Movement Studio.
Saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, cold plunge and Swedish shower
Men’s and women’s locker rooms have their own saunas, steam rooms and Jacuzzi tubs for relaxation before or after workouts. Locker rooms open up to two co-ed whirlpools on the mountainside of the club – a special treat on a snowy winter afternoon.
Club Locker Rooms
Enjoy our superb locker facilities, with relaxing sitting areas and first-class club amenities. Tall, bright, wooden lockers in carpeted changing areas allow you to dress in comfort. Accessories like fresh towels, shaving cream, mouthwash, combs, hair spray, body lotion and deodorant are all provided for your convenience. Our shower facilities are beautifully tiled and equipped with quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There’s even a swimsuit water extractor for your convenience.
