Your Executive Chef
Kevin Nelson, executive chef and general manager of Terra Bistro, brings 26 years of culinary experience and passion to the Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa’s celebrated restaurant. A Long Island, New York, transplant, Chef Nelson is unconstrained by narrow culinary traditions and instead follows the freshest, healthiest ingredients to present spectacular, surprising flavors in truly memorable dishes. Of Kevin’s 26 years in the culinary industry, 16 have been spent at Terra Bistro. An avid backpacker, camper and golfer, Kevin’s most dominant passion is managing Terra Bistro. He also serves as a board member for Taste of Vail, a local charitable organization.
